It's peanut butter jelly time!

Hi! I'm Miss Udelhofen and I have been working with children 5-12 for 10 years in educational and recreational settings all around the Upper Valley. When I'm not busy working and planning, I enjoy reading, hiking, telling funny jokes, spending time with family, and crafting. I'm looking forward to my 3rd year as a classroom teacher at the Cornish Elementary School! Get ready for a year filled with activities that involve inquiry and skill building across the curriculum!

Fun Facts About Me!

  • I am one of 8 siblings (including step-siblings). Most of my siblings live close by, so we have many fun game nights and BBQ's!
  • I have a dachshund mix named Jagger who is 3 years old. He enjoys cuddling, barking at the trees, and stealing my socks. He's a very goofy and cute little guy!
  • When I was in 3rd and 4th Grade my favorite subjects were writing and math. I'm still pretty in love with both, but now I get to read, do science experiments, and learn more about our history! My enthusiasm for learning never seems to end. I hope you bring yours along, too!

About Me

I have two sons, two granddaughters and twin grandsons. I love learning, traveling, teaching, swimming, sewing, all things Disney and spending time with children.

I have been at Cornish Elementary School since 1989, after having spent a few years at Maple Avenue School. From Maple Avenue, I landed at Valley Regional Hospital, as Head Teacher of their Pre-School. During those years, I also was Director of Claremont Community Center Summer Day Camp Program.

During my time at Cornish Elementary School, I have served in many positions: Kindergarden Paraprofessional, Second Grade Regular Education Paraprofessional, Fourth Grade Paraprofessional, Special Education Learning Center Paraprofessional grades 1 through 8 (18 years). For nine years I worked in first grade, as a Regular Education Paraprofessional. My current position is in the combination 3/4 Grade as a Regular Education Paraprofessional.

Through the years, I have been involved in many different staff development opportunities. I have an Associate Degree from The College for Lifelong Learning and a BS from Granite State College.
