Principal Newsletter

Friday January 19, 2018

The Lost and Found boxes are filling up!  Please help reduce the number of missing items by labelling your child’s jacket, snowpants and mittens so we can reunite them with the correct owner when they get left behind.

Next Friday, Cornish will be providing our third and final complimentary breakfast for all students, served from 7:45 til 8:12 am.  Get fueled up for Ski/LIFE day!  Also, any students who wish to take a bag lunch with them to Sunapee or Lebanon for their Ski or Swim lesson days (Jan. 26 and Feb 2 and 9) will need to let The Abbey Group know so they can prepare a sufficient number of lunches each of those days.

Our winter benchmark assessments for reading and math begin next week.  Thank you in advance for emphasizing enough sleep, rest and nutrition, as well as daily reading and academic discussions to help our students do their very best.  Teachers will need accurate results for the most effective planning of instruction.

Mark Your Calendars!

January 22:  School Board Meeting at 6:30 in the Library

January 26:  Third Ski/LIFE Friday! Semi-Formal Dance for students in grades 6-8, from 6:30-9 pm.  Put your sparkle on for the Year’s Eve theme!

Have a wonderful weekend; warmest regards,

Jennifer Prileson, Principal
