Dear Parents,

As we head into our winter vacation, our staff wants to wish everyone a restful and healthy time off.  When we resume school on the 26th, we’ll need to gear up for all kinds of special projects and ongoing learning in each class.  Examples include the Math Olympics Day on the 27th, with multi-grade groups completing all kinds of math-related activities; the upcoming Science Fair in Mid-March; writing papers in the Upper Wing comparing books they are reading; researching the 50 states and incorporating technology; and the continuation of a geography unit focusing on Asia.

We’re seeing more winter outerwear being left behind:  boots, snow pants, jackets and lots of other things are accumulating again in our lost and found bins.  Please take some of the vacation week to check your home inventory to see what is missing and make a list to check the week we return,
