Dear Parents,

On Monday April 23, the School Board approved June 20 as our last day of school for students.  Graduation will remain as scheduled:  Saturday, June 16 at St. Gaudens.  We will have a number of other year-end events and celebrations, including a Field Day and Barbecue for all students on the 20th.  In addition to regularly scheduled class field trips, the entire Lower Wing will have a final year-end trip to the Montshire Museum on June 13; and the Upper Wing students will head to the NH Seacoast Science Center June 18.

It’s time to order your Yearbook!  Please go online to order your copy:  https://cesbook.picaboo.com/  Also, if you have photos from school events to share, you can send them through wetransfer.com or directly to Kate Barber via email:  atkrascal@yahoo.com

Yesterday evening, the Grade 3 & 4 students gave a wonderful performance in our gym, re-enacting the historical events from early days of the American Revolution and Paul Revere’s famous midnight ride. Many thanks to Caroline Storrs for her able directing, along with Ms. Udelhofen and Mrs. Ryan.  Today’s ballet performance of Giselle by Valerie Newton’s dancers was also a very special event!  The whole school enjoyed the performance this morning and were so pleased to see several classmates as part of the corps de ballet.

Next week we will resume annual state testing:  Grades 5 & 8 in Science; grades 3 and 4 in math.
