Last Saturday, our Robotics team competed in Nashua, along with about 15 other teams from around the state, in a ‘Rookie Rumble’ for first-time competitors.  There were 3 categories in the competition:  Core Values (teamwork to solve a problem); a research-based Project and presentation; and the Robot Design itself (including how well it performed a sequence of tasks).  It was exciting to watch Cornish Robocats as they took first place in the Project category!  Congratulations to team members Nicholas Caver, Wyatt Spaulding, Matthias Heim, Nicholas Petrucci, and Troy Snide; and to team members Logan Bowers and Jeffrey Vidou, who were unable to attend but participated in all the work leading up to the day’s competition.  Many thanks to coaches Jeff Proehl and Kait Jones for all their leadership and hard work; and to parents for their support and assistance!  While you’re keeping an eye out for Robotics competition photos and other recent activities on our website, go to the new link there to see our FaceBook page, ‘Like us’ at
