It’s been a cold but busy week! Students have been:
Practicing letters and sounds with Ms. Varga, and tracing letters in trays of sand;
Reviewing rocks and minerals with Mr. Colombo;
Doing warm-ups in PE with Mr. Holloway;
Reading and analyzing The Lightning Thief with Ms. Dangelo-Worth;
Reading two versions of The Little Red Hen with Ms. Jones and comparing the stories;
Completing 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication with Ms. Sinclair;
Watching marching band formations with Mr. Foye;
Studying moon phases with Mrs. Coolidge;
Creating designs for coins with Ms. Wolfinger;
Learning about colonial craft workers, such as tanners, spinners and blacksmiths with Ms. Udelhofen and Ms. Storrs;
Writing essays in Ms. Tilton’s class.

With all the recent snow and ice, it continues to be important for all students to have proper winter outerwear. Please make sure your child comes to school with boots and snowpants as well as mittens, jackets and hats, so they can stay warm and play safely on those surfaces. Our Lost & Found tub still has a number of these items left behind; thank you for checking it to see if your child owns any of these items.
