We’ve had another busy week! The kindergarten class is monitoring the hatching of their trout eggs into ‘alevins’; several of our PE classes are advancing their skills in badminton; we held our January/February Student of the Month assembly on Wednesday, with many students recognized; and Steven Palmer was the National School Breakfast Week raffle winner! We encourage you to visit our website and check out photos from some of these events.
More basketball: Continuing March 16, the Cornish School gymnasium will be open on Saturdays from 9-11 am for students to come and play basketball. In addition, AAU basketball will be taking place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Please contact Mr. Greg Clark and Mr. Justin Ranney for more details.
A Memo from Cathy Parks and Kelly Callahan:
We wanted to send a big thank you to all students and chaperones for making the 2019 ski season at Mt Sunapee a success. It seems everyone had a good time and though it was cold a few days, we were able to get all 5 weeks in. It was great to have some fantastic spring skiing for week 4.
We would like to send an extra thank you to all chaperones for their dedication and flexibility skiing with different groups and filling in where needed during the season. The CES staff also did an excellent job keeping track of everyone, making sure rentals were picked up and returned and keeping order in the lodge.
Sunapee has advertising stating that the Epic Pass you receive is your Epic Pass for life. We have asked if this applies to the school programs as well. Sunapee has not answered yet, but it would be good for us to plan ahead. If you are in K – 7th grade, please turn your school issued Epic Pass in to Dale in the office and she will pass them along to us for safe keeping until next season. Happy Spring and Summer! Cathy & Kelly
